Sony Pictures has premiered the second trailer for “Kraven the Hunter,” its upcoming Sony Marvel Universe film based on the iconic Spider-Man Villain.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared.

Also starring are Fred Hechinger as Kraven’s estranged half-brother Dmitri Smerdyakov/Chameleon, Alessandro Nivola as Russian mercenary Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino, Ariana DeBose as voodoo priestess Calypso who is Kraven’s love interest, and Christopher Abbott as mercenary and assassin The Foreigner.

The film was reportedly shot entirely on location in the UK and Iceland, and is directed by Oscar nominee J.C. Chandor (“Triple Frontier”) from a screenplay co-written by Richard Wenk (“The Equalizer”), Matt Holloway, and Art Marcum.

Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing. The film has undergone multiple delays but is now finally arriving in cinemas on December 13th including IMAX and PLF formats.
