Wayward
Netflix has shared the first photos from the Toronto set of Mae Martin’s limited thriller drama series “Wayward”. Martin, Toni Collette, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Gadon, Sydney Topliffe, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Brandon Jay McLaren, Joshua Close, and Patrick Gallagher star.
Set in a bucolic but sinister town, the story explores the insidious underbelly of the ‘troubled teen industry’ and the eternal struggle between one generation and the next. [Source: Netflix]
Welcome to Derry
The “IT” prequel series spin-off film “Welcome to Derry” has reportedly wrapped production. Andy Muschietti, who helmed the two films, will direct four episodes of the nine-episode series.
Bill Skarsgård, Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar and Stephen Rider lead the cast of the series which is expected to air next year. [Source: Discussing Film]
Doctor Odyssey
ABC has premiered the first trailer for Ryan Murphy’s latest series – the medical procedural “Doctor Odyssey” starring Joshua Jackson, Don Johnson, Phillipa Soo and Sean Teale.
In the series debuting September 26th, Max is the new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship where the staff works hard and plays harder. Max and his small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore.
M. Son of the Century
Sky has released the teaser trailer for “M. Son of the Century,” their eight-part new series that chronicles the rise to power of Benito Mussolini and is based on Antonio Scurati’s award-winning novel.
British filmmaker Joe Wright directs the run and the series will launch at this year’s Venice Film Festival. Luca Marinelli plays Mussolini during the period between 1919, when he founded the fascist party in Italy, and 1925 when – having gained power
