The Waterfront
“Mindhunter” star Holt McCallany will family patriarch Harlan Buckley in Netflix‘s upcoming family drama “The Waterfront” which hails from “Scream” writer and “Dawson’s Creek” creator Kevin Williamson.

The series revolves around a crumbling North Carolina fishing empire. Harlan built up the business with his dad and has had two heart attacks to date. His son’s foolish decisions with siad business have left Harlan with no choice but to take the reins once again. [Source: Deadline]

Sweetpea
STARZ has unveiled the teaser trailer for its six-part coming-of-rage drama “Sweetpea” based on C.J. Skuse’s cult novel of the same name. Kirstie Swain writes and executive produces the series which launches in October.

“Fallout” star Ella Purnell plays Rhiannon Lewis, a wallflower continually overlooked and looked after by her father. One day she’s pushed over the edge and loses control – the anger giving her new, intoxicating power.

Citadel: Honey Bunny
The Indian spin-off of Joe and Anthony Russo’s “Citadel” series will be titled “Citadel: Honey Bunny” and will launch November 7th. Bollywood mainstays Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have been cast in leading roles.

Set in a 1990s setting, the series will fuse elements of a spy action thriller with a love story. Raj & DK helm the series which marks the third in the franchise following last year’s “Citadel” and the Italian “Citadel: Diana” which debuts October 10th.

Netflix
Netflix has announced a September 16th start for its annual Geeked Week celebrations which will culminate in its first-ever live, in-person fan event in Atlanta on September 19th.

The teaser for this fourth iteration promises updates on “Stranger Things,” “Wednesday,” “Squid Game,” “Arcane,” “The Sandman,” “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft,” “Cobra Kai” and “One Piece” among others.
