Transformers One has had a couple of trailers and a TV spot. Now, as the release approaches, Paramount Pictures has released a full clip from the animated prequel.
The sneak peak was shared at the 2024 Kids’ Choice Awards over the weekend and shows robots, shooting, and transformations. So pretty much everything you would expect.
Transformers One is a fully CG animated feature film, starring Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry as Optimus Prime and Megatron respectively. The film will explore the origin story of the pair, before they became bitter enemies. They were once like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
There is quite a voice cast attached to Transformers One. The cast includes Scarlett Johansson as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion, and Steve Buscemi is rumored to be Starscream.
It is directed by Josh Cooley from a script by Andrew Barrer, Steve Desmond, and Gabriel Ferrari.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura produces the animated film, and there is already talk of a potential trilogy.
Last time there was an animated Transformers movie, it completely destroyed an entire generation who left theaters in stunned silence. If you were there, you know what we mean.
Transformers One will be released in theaters on September 20th.
