The world has changed, and a new hero is needed as Marvel Studios releases the official teaser trailer for the upcoming superhero film Captain America: Brave New World. View trailer below.
Sam Wilson finds himself at the center of an international incident and must work to stop the true brains behind it
I was wondering when the first trailer for this movie was coming out. With the exception of Deadpool & Wolverine, the MCU has been “quiet” for quite some time, so it’s kind of nice to return to this cinematic universe with some that’s a bit more “grounded”. Well, not so much “grounded”, but (as Kevin Feige calls it) more of the “street level narratives” of the MCU. The past two Captain America movies are usually known for that and (by extension) Falcon and the Winter Soldier limited series. This official “first look” at the new movie demonstrates a more “back to basics” from the fantastical (and sometimes convoluted) takes on the multiverse story arc and brings it back to a more gritter narrative that see Ross (who is now played by Harrison Ford) and Wilson at odds with their ideologies of the symbolism of Captain America and the security of freedom. While the jury might still be out about this movie, I, for one, am interested to see how the film will play out and how fans / moviegoers will receive it. Also, RED HULK!
