Last April, Lucasfilm offered a first look at its “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” series for those lucky attendees to the Star Wars Celebration expo.

That first look included a brief trailer and some stills in room which have since gone online. Officially though, the studio has yet to release any publicity material more than the show’s logo and one or two stills of star Jude Law.

Even story details are relatively vague. We know it takes place post-Empire around the same time as events of ” The Mandalorian” and “Ahsoka”. We know the show is going for a vibe akin to “The Goonies”.

The story follows a group of four kids end up on an adventure to make their way home after being lost in the galaxy following a discovery they make on their home planet.

How it figures into the larger “Star Wars” mythology remains a mystery and Lucasfilm has been radio silent about the show ever since. Today, a few little details have emerged, via all place, from photos of an upcoming 1138 piece LEGO set tie-in to the show.

The photos reveal a first look at a ship (albeit the LEGO version) called The Onyx Cinder, which appears to be the ship that belongs to Law’s character. The ship looks fast and well-armed, sporting at least six engines, three projectile launchers and two shooting turrets (there may be more on the craft’s underside).

In addition, the set confirms that Law’s character is named Jod while the four young child actors appear to be named Wim, Fern, KS, and Neel. Jod is a new name, not an existing creation from prior Expanded Universe or current canon.

Executive producer and director Jon Watts has previously indicated that the series does not require any prior Star Wars knowledge to enjoy it.
