Warner Bros. Pictures has premiered the second trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s latest thriller “Trap” which hits cinemas next month.
The psychological thriller was shot late last year in Canada and follows a man and his daughter attending a pop concert. They soon realise the whole event is a trap being laid by the cops to catch the serial killer ‘The Butcher’.
Josh Hartnett stars as the father, Hayley Mills plays Dr. Grant, and Shyamalan’s R&B singer-songwriter daughter Saleka plays the concert’s lead act Lady Raven.
Ariel Donoghue and Allison Pill co-star in the film which is produced by Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock and M. Night Shyamalan.
Sayombhu Mukdeeprom (“Call Me by Your Name”) is the director of photography, Debbie de Villa (“The Hating Game”) is the production designer, and Herdĭs Stefănsdŏttir (“Knock at the Cabin”) is doing the music.
The film’s international rollout commences August 1st and domestically hits cinemas on August 9th.
