The Xbox Game Showcase this morning revealed a new 5-minute full-length trailer for its upcoming “Indiana Jones and The Great Circle” game coming later this year.
The single player title hails from “Wolfenstein: The New Order” developers MachineGames. The story takes place in the gap between “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”.
Mostly first person with occasional third-person sequences and dubbed a mishmash of “Uncharted” and “Wolfenstein,” the clip features an extended scene with Indy and his partner Gina in the Himalayas looking for a stone when the Nazis interrupt them.
There’s also a Troy Baker doing his best Harrison Ford impersonation as Indiana Jones in the clip with scenes also in Thailand, Egypt and more in the trailer.
Whilst there have been rumors of this being a cross platform release, Microsoft seems committed to making this an Xbox and PC only release with a launch Day One on GamePass later this year.
