By The cast list for Rian Johnson‘s next “Knives Out” film just keeps expanding. Hot off Jeremy Renner joining the cast this morning comes news this afternoon of actress Mila Kunis also getting onboard.
The pair join a cast that includes Josh O’Connor, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny and Glenn Close alongside Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc.
In the film, Blanc sets out to solve a new murder mystery in a yet-to-be-revealed setting and another colorful collection of suspects.
Johnson, who also penned the script and is producing with Ram Bergman, announced last Friday that the third ‘Knives’ film’s title is “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery”.
It marks the second of the two sequels Johnson and Craig are doing for Netflix following a record-setting $450 million deal.
Production is set to start next monthin the United Kingdom with Netflix planning to release sometime in 2025.
