Two months ahead of its theatrical debut, the runtime for Marvel Studios’ much-anticipated “Deadpool & Wolverine” may have leaked going by a theatrical exhibition listing.
Collider reports that the AMC Theaters website page was updated to include some details about the film including an approximate runtime of 127 minutes.
The information has not been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios but, if true, it would easily be the franchise’s longest to date – beating out the 108 minutes of the original and the 119 minutes of the first sequel.
Even so, it’s a LONG way from the longest MCU feature which remains “Avengers: Endgame” at 181 minutes and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” at 161 minutes.
The film ties back to the Time Variance Authority (TVA) from “Loki,” a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline.
Here they pull Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) from his quiet life and set him on a mission with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) that will change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)
Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams, Rob Delaney, Stefan Kapicic, Karan Soni, Shioli Kutsuna and Jennifer Garner co-star.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” opens in cinemas on July 26th.
