Recent images from the set of The Witcher season 4 can provide perhaps some small measure of reassurance to those who have wondered if Liam Hemsworth can fill the very large shoes left by the Netflix series’ previous lead actor, Henry Cavill. The performances will no doubt be very different, but come on! The look is pretty spot on!
Here are some of the images that showed up on X straight from The Witcher set.
As mentioned in the second post above, some of these costumes should be very familiar to fans of The Witcher, as they appear to be identical to those worn by Geralt in previous seasons. The guess is that Hemsworth will appear in flashbacks of the monster hunter to time when he was wearing, among other things, his classic White Wolf armor.
There are even some set photos, such as those below, which depict Geralt battling with Vilgefortz (Mahesh Jadu) in a foreshadowing of the conflict to come in The Witcher season 4. From the distance the photos were taken, it would be easy to squint and see nothing different about the character in Hemsworth’s look.
Here’s hoping the rest of the character and magic of The Witcher remains intact when season 4 returns to Netflix in 2025.
