Marvel Studios has released a final trailer for the three-part first season finale of its acclaimed Disney+ animated series “X-Men ‘97”.
Titled “Tolerance Is Extinction,” the trio of episodes revisits the challenges that the team has gone through so far including the now infamous Genosha attack.
Then comes a glimpse of the remaining episodes with new footage showing off scenes such as Cable teaming up with Cyclops.
There’s even a playful swipe at a famous joke line from the first of the live-action movies way back in 2000.
The revival continues new stories from the iconic 1990s animated series timeline. The show hails from former showrunner Beau DeMayo and has scored jaw-dropping reviews that are easily some of the best of the year thus far.
The three-parter will premiere on May 1st, 8th and 15th respectively on the Disney+ service.
