Actor Ryan Reynolds has released a 40-second clip teasing the arrival of the second trailer for Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine” which will go online tomorrow morning.
In addition, a new poster for the project has been released. The film was one of the most strike-impacted productions, but things seem to have been moving smoothly since and it’s sticking by its release date of this July.
Earlier this month the film topped the list of the most anticipated films of the Summer film season, easily beating out all other titles including “Inside Out 2,” “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,” “A Quiet Place: Day One,” “The Fall Guy” and “Despicable Me 4”.
The film will see the return of the Time Variance Authority, the multi-verse hopping organization at the center of “Loki,” that will play a key role in the film with Deadpool declaring himself Marvel’s Jesus.
Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Garner, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams, Rob Delaney, Stefan Kapicic, Karan Soni, and Shioli Kutsuna co-star in the film.
Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells penned the film which will officially be Marvel Studios’ first R-rated movie. “Deadpool & Wolverine” opens in cinemas July 26th.
