By Another brief teaser has been released for “Kinds of Kindness,” a film that marks the third teaming of Oscar-winning collaborators actress Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos.
The pair previously worked together on “The Favourite” and “Poor Things”. Stone is joined onscreen by Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.
The story follows a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.
The triptych anthology feature was written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou with the stories set in the U.S. The plan is to have actors playing multiple roles across the feature.
Searchlight Pictures is set to release the film in cinemas on June 21st. Meanwhile, Stone and Lanthimos are gearing up reunite again shortly for the remake of 2003’s “Save the Green Planet:.
