Jack Champion, Sophia Lillis, Bobby Cannavale, Kate del Castillo, Tony Dalton, Whitney Peak, Inde Navarrette, Zaire Adams, and Blu del Barrio are all set to join Dave Bautista in the action thriller “Trap House,” which is currently in production.
The story follows an undercover DEA agent and his partner In El Paso, Texas, on a game of cat and mouse with a group of thieves. Said thieves happen to be their rebellious teenage kids robbing from a dangerous cartel and using their parents’ tactics and top-secret intel to succeed.

It’s not the only bit of casting news today. “True Detective: Night Country” breakout Kali Reis will join Chris Pratt, Rebecca Ferguson and Annabelle Wallis in the thriller “Mercy” which will shoot this Spring for an August 2025 release.
Timur Bekmambetov helms the near future-set film with Pratt playing a detective accused of a violent crime and is forced to prove his innocence. Marco van Belle penned the script.
Also today, Felicity Huffman has been cast as psychiatrist Dr. Jill Gideon, ex-wife of Mandy Patinkin‘s Jason Gideon, in the second season of “Criminal Minds: Evolution” on the Paramount+ service.
In her episodes, she agrees to help the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit investigate a murderous conspiracy theory.
