“Do you wish him any further harm?” “Not at this time, no.” Umbrella Entertainment has revealed another official trailer for wacky fun indie horror comedy Mum, I’m Alien Pregnant, an amusing New Zealand creation about a young woman who gets pregnant… with an alien baby. It premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year in the Midnight section. It’s the creation of the New Zealand filmmaking duo called “Thunderlips“, best known for their eccentric music videos & other short films, serving up their first feature film. A messy millennial underachiever accidentally becomes alien-pregnant and must contend with skeptical doctors, a useless baby daddy, and her oversharing mother in order to survive & reclaim her life. Starring Hannah Lynch as Mary, Yvette Parsons as her mum Cynthia, Arlo Green as Boo, and Jackie van Beek as Ann. A tale of girl-meets-alien-boy and the body horror of pregnancy. Mary contends with her changing body; the unborn alien inside her; and her mum… finally reconciling all three in a slimy climax. I also already posted the full official trailer a few months ago.
