
“I want the big story, and then I want the bigger story.” “I promised these sources they were going to be safe.” Sony Pictures has revealed the official full trailer for The Social Reckoning, the highly anticipated follow-up to David Fincher’s 2010 film The Social Network about Facebook. The big reveal trailer following the teaser a few months ago featuring way more footage. Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin returns steering the ship, also directing in addition to writing. “The verdict is in. The reckoning is coming.” This is essentially the sequel to The Social Network, arriving in theaters this October. “Every revolution begins with a reckoning.” This sequel follows the story of Frances Haugen, a young Facebook engineer, who enlists the help of Jeff Horwitz, a Wall Street Journal reporter, to blow the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets – soon to be revealed. Starring Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen White, Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen, with Bill Burr, and Jeremy Strong as the slimy Mark Zuckerberg trying to push back against all the harm that his website has caused.
