The Has Fallen franchise is growing beyond Gerard Butler’s Mike Banning, and if the first trailer for Apollo Has Fallen is any indication, the action series isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The new streaming spin-off picks up after the events of Paris Has Fallen, trading presidential rescues for an international conspiracy that could put all of Europe at risk.

Although Butler serves as an executive producer, he is not expected to appear on screen. Instead, the spotlight once again belongs to MI6 agent Zara Taylor, played by Ritu Arya, and former protection officer Vincent Taleb, portrayed by Tewfik Jallab. Their latest mission begins in the wake of a hijacking that uncovers a terrifying plot involving a deadly virus, heavily armed mercenaries, and a scheme capable of unleashing chaos across the continent.

The duo’s hunt takes them from the Libyan coast to the streets of Madrid, where they face ruthless mercenary leader Yuri Mishkin, whose deadly operation threatens countless lives. With time running out, Zara and Vincent must stop the conspiracy before Europe is pushed to the brink of catastrophe.

The series follows the critically acclaimed Paris Has Fallen, created by Howard Overman, which earned strong reviews for shifting the franchise’s focus away from Mike Banning while delivering high-stakes espionage and explosive action. Judging by the new trailer, Apollo Has Fallen aims to raise the stakes even further with larger set pieces, global locations, and relentless action.

Apollo Has Fallen will premiere soon on Canal+ in France, Hulu in the United States, and Prime Video in the United Kingdom, giving action fans another adrenaline-fueled chapter in one of the genre’s most successful modern franchises.
