Neeson stars as Ryan “Fang” Flanagan, a decorated Afghanistan war veteran whose life spirals out of control after a confrontation with his ex-wife Tara’s abusive partner ends in tragedy. Framed for murder, Fang does what he does best—he fights back. Behind the wheel of a stolen Shelby, he launches a daring escape, leaving a trail of wrecked police cruisers and stunned officers in his wake.
Hot on his heels is Major Walter Pope, played by Michael Chiklis, a relentless lawman determined to capture the fugitive at any cost. As the nationwide manhunt intensifies, flashbacks reveal Fang’s traumatic past as a prisoner of war, explaining why surrender is simply not an option. Helping him stay one step ahead is his former military brother Tanker, played by Ving Rhames, while Tara becomes one of his strongest allies.
Blending muscle cars, explosive pursuits, and Liam Neeson’s trademark determination, The Mongoose looks set to deliver another adrenaline-fueled thriller for action fans this fall.
The film races into U.S. theaters on October 30, 2026.
