Tom Hardy will return for Guy Ritchie’s “MobLand” TV series.
Reports the other week indicated the actor would not return for a third season, with talk alleging he clashed with showrunner Jez Butterworth to a point where the two could no longer work together.
A recent meeting in London between Hardy, Butterworth and series executive producer David Glasser reportedly went well with the trio “coming to a great understanding about a path forward”.
Executive producer Guy Ritchie reportedly was also involved in the process and now final touches are being put in place for Hardy’s return to the series full-time.
The third season is aiming to go into production this Fall with Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren also returning. Ritchie is an executive producer and directed a number of episodes across both seasons.
The show hasn’t been officially renewed as yet but is expected to get an order for a third season.
