Futurama
Hulu has announced that the fourteenth season of its animated comedy series “Futurama” will premiere on August 3rd with new episodes streaming on Mondays.

The synopsis reads: “The future is about to get a whole lot stranger! It’s a non-stop onslaught of swaggering space pirates, lab-grown meats, sexy scams… plus the shocking return of Dr. Zoidberg’s lost love! You didn’t see that coming, prior to being told about it just now!” [Source: TV Line]

The Pitt
Noah Wyle has confirmed that the upcoming third season of “The Pitt” will jump ahead several months, with the season’s shift taking place in early November, just before the holidays. The more wintry setting allows for things like “more car accidents, more black ice, more boilers exploding”. Wyle teased the season’s timeframe at the 2026 PaleyFest LA. [Source: Deadline]

Margot’s Got Money Troubles
Apple has officially renewed its recently launched drama “Margot’s Got Money Troubles” – the order coming through a week ahead of the show’s first season finale.

In addition, Apple announced that Eva Anderson will join series creator David E. Kelley as co-showrunner on the second season. Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman, Nicole Kidman, Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington star. [Source: Variety]

Netflix
Netflix used its upfront presentation today to announce it has renewed five shows, with the most high-profile being the Kate Hudson-led basketball comedy “Running Point”.

That show will return for a third season and will be joined by Dan Levy’s crime comedy series “Big Mistakes” getting a second season, family drama “My Life With the Walter Boys” getting a fourth season, documentary series “Quarterback” getting a second season and perennial dating show hit “Love is Blind” landing an eleventh season.
