A Minecraft Movie 2
Kirsten Dunst has posted the first photo from the set of “A Minecraft Movie 2” in which she stars alongside returnees Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry and Jennifer Coolidge. Jared Hess is returning to direct the project from a script by Hess & Chris Galletta. The film is set to open July 23rd 2027. [Source: Instagram]
Grand Theft Auto VI
An e-mail accidentally sent out by Best Buy has reportedly indicated that pre-orders for “Grand Theft Auto VI” kick off on May 18th and runs through May 21st (Take Two’s quarterly earnings call is on the 21st), which has led to speculation that a new trailer is coming in the next few days. Betty Gilpin, Alec Baldwin, and David Costabile will join Oscar Isaac in Netflix series “The Roman,” a high-stakes modern casino drama series from the creators of “Billions” and executive produced by Martin Scorsese.
Isaac plays ‘Bobby Red’, the president of the hottest hotel casino in town, who has to make some long odds moves to try and secure his position and take more ground. J.C. Chandor directs the first two episodes. [Source: Netflix]
