
Netflix has premiered the full trailer for the new animated series “Stranger Things: Tales From ’85”.
The title is a spin-off of the streamer’s famed supernatural live-action series, which wrapped its five-season run back at New Year’s. This series premieres on April 23rd and unfolds between the events of the second and third seasons of the live-action series.
Welcome back to Hawkins in the stark winter of 1985 as the Upside Down’s influence is again seeping into the town. Familiar characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorising their town.
The voice cast includes Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Ej (Elisha) Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will, and Brett Gipson as Hopper.
Additional voice cast includes Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips.
In partnership with AMC Theatres, several dozen theatres across the United States will screen the first two episodes on April 18th at noon and 3pm local time – five days ahead of the show’s debut on the service on April 23rd.
