Ryan Phillippe returns to action in One Mile, a two-part survival thriller arriving on digital platforms on February 20.

Directed and produced by Adam Davidson, the film leans into grounded tension and stripped-down brutality, with Phillippe front and center as a father pushed to his limits.

The story follows a former special forces operative attempting to reconnect with his teenage daughter during a college road trip. An unexpected detour changes everything. They cross paths with a violent, off-the-grid community, and his daughter is kidnapped. Cut off, outnumbered, and operating alone, he goes dark and uses every skill from his past to hunt them down and bring her home.

Phillippe brings deep genre experience to the role. His past work includes One Shot opposite Scott Adkins, the action thriller The 2nd, and the cult fantasy Franklyn. One Mile positions him as a more desperate and emotionally driven lead, balancing tactical precision with parental urgency.

The script was written by John Hlavin, based on an idea by Jaiden Kaplan, with rewrites by TJ Brady and Rasheed Newson. Phillippe produces alongside Davidson and Jaiden Kaplan, with Aaron Kaplan and Michael Lohmann producing for Kapital.

One Mile: Chapter One and Chapter Two will release simultaneously, delivering a complete, high-stakes story in one drop.
