Mystery deepens in the second season of Paradise TV show as the series expands its scope beyond the bunker and into the shattered world outside.
A newly released clip confirms that Sterling K. Brown’s Xavier survives the Season 1 plane crash and continues his relentless search for his wife, Teri. This time, he is not alone, forming an uneasy alliance with a new companion as he navigates a landscape reshaped by catastrophe.
Shailene Woodley makes her presence felt in the preview, with her character still largely shrouded in secrecy. In one key moment, she questions Xavier about the bunker, asking whether it is real and what life inside was truly like.
According to the official synopsis, Season 2 follows Xavier as he discovers how humanity has endured in the three years since “The Day,” while back in Paradise the fragile social order begins to crack.
Inside the bunker, tensions rise as residents confront the fallout from last season and long-buried truths about the city’s origins begin to surface.
Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans return, joined by guest stars James Marsden, Jon Beavers, Woodley, and Doherty.
Created by Dan Fogelman, Paradise continues to blend character drama with high-concept mystery under the banner of 20th Television.
Watch it on Hulu on February 23.
