He may be a Marvel kid, but that won’t stop Bucky Barnes from moving to Gotham City if the price is right.

Sebastian Stan is reportedly in talks to join Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II at Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios.

Already on board are Robert Pattinson returning as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Scarlett Johansson, Colin Farrell returning as Oz Cobb/The Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.

Barry Keoghan is expected to return as the Joker, last heard rather than fully seen in a cell in Arkham Asylum alongside the Riddler.

Filming is set to start in the UK in May, ahead of the October 2027 release.

Of course, one potential role is that of Harvey Dent, and Johannson’s rumored character might support that speculation.

Alongside a leading role in Thunderbolts, and an upcoming appearance in Avengers: Doomsday, Stan got rave reviews for The Apprentice.

The Batman Part II remains an Elseworlds project, outside the main DCU.

The Batman will be 5 years old by the time The Batman Part II is released.
