It’s the first Monday of 2026, and so far, so good. I mean, it’s only the 5th, but it’s been OK so far… well, it’s OK as long as you don’t watch the news.
The good thing about Mondays is the memes, and there are plenty of them at the bottom of the page. In the meantime, there is also room for a moan.
Over the holidays, I’m sure you watched lots of movies. I know I did. Terrestrial TV was terrible, so it was great to have streaming.
My start to movie watching for 2026 hasn’t been great. I’m trying to get through Wicked: For No Good. I reviewed the first movie, this time last year, and it wasn’t terrible, just boring.
Well, somehow, they have made the sequel even more boring. So far, I’m about an hour into Wicked: For No Good, and it’s all just, well, for no good.
Elphabet, the wicked witch, hates everyone, especially all the white people. Everyone hates Elphabet, because she’s a different colour, you know, green. There’s been a campaign to make everyone hate her. The media… what are you going to do?
I honestly cannot finish this second movie, I mean, I get bored on a Monday, but not that bored.
There’s so much other awesome stuff to watch, like Supergirl (1980) with Helen Slater. OK, awesome is pushing it, but it’s a damn sight more entertaining than Wicked: For No Good.
So, on with Monday’s memes. There are only 12 today, because one of you misbehaved in the comments over the weekend. You know who you are!
