By Searchlight Pictures has announced that this week’s launch of the trailer for “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” has smashed records.
The title launched with 68 million views in its first 24 hours, surpassing the 48 million set by “A Complete Unknown” last year, to become Searchlight’s biggest trailer launch ever.
The trailer launch spanned TikTok (33M), Facebook (12M), Instagram (10M), YouTube (6M), X/Twitter (3M), Pinterest (2M), and Reddit (1M).
Early fan response has been strong across social platforms with the trailer having been positively received.
Samara Weaving returns from the original and is joined this time by Kathryn Newton as her sister. The film picks up shortly after the end of the first as several powerful, wealthy families have to engage Grace in a new game, and whoever survives will essentially control the world.
Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood star in the new film which opens in cinemas on April 10th 2026.
