By It’s the weekend and we need a laugh, so we’ve made a new slot, called Scenes We’d Like to See. It’s shamelessly stolen from a BBC comedy panel show called Mock the Week.
Basically, involves you, our loyal Outposters, coming up with amusing lines, jokes and other such jovial quips to make each other laugh. Here is an example of what it’s about: Scenes We’d Like to See: Unlikely lines you’d hear in a blockbuster movie.
I know we usually do Great Debates or Confessions, but we should try new things, like DEI-inspired movies or toilet paper. So, for this week’s Scenes We’d Like to See, how it works? So, this new feature’s subject is:
Lines you wouldn’t hear in an action movie
With it, just post lines you wouldn’t hear in an action movie, something like:
Well, Mr Bond, it’s not just a pen, but when you turn it upside down…her clothes come off.
