If Monday were a movie, it would be the opposite of Freaky Friday. That’s the one where Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan swap bodies. It would be unfunny, painful to watch, and star actresses you can’t stand the sight of. Actually, Monday would be Freaky Friday.
So, how was your weekend? Did that Tinder date turn up? Or did she see you from afar and just walk away? Man, if I had a pound every time that happened to me, I would have £4. Did you watch anything good over the weekend? Did you see anything you need to moan about this Monday?
Bride Hard
I watched Bride Hard, starring Rebel Wilson. I had to do some work, so I put this on in the background. There were moments I was watching it, mostly in disbelief, as it was terrible. And not terrible in a good way, but terrible is an ‘even I nearly turned it off’ way.
Firstly, they said it was like Die Hard, but it is not. The only way it’s like Die Hard is that they are both movies. Wilson plays Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect. Confession, but I like Pitch Perfect, it’s a funny movie, a good cast, and I’m a sucker for a good song. However, seeing Wilson as Fat Amy, trying to be a secret agent, was just painful.
Stupidly, they also cast Anna Camp in Bride Hard, so it was basically Pitch Perfect with action sequels and no songs. However, it was nowhere near as good as Pitch Perfect. The only thing that got me through the movie was Anna Chlumsky, who’s still very cute.
Monday Memes
On to Monday’s Movie Memes. As per, we have gone through the internet and found you the best memes created by man. I had to go to the dark web to find some of them, and it’s very odd over there. I think I accidentally hired a hitman to take me out. It’ll be cool, though, it’ll be like Inspector Clouseau and Kato, and end up in a series of hilarious events.
