By A couple of clips of note today, starting with Warner Bros. Pictures revealing a new video for Joseph Kosinski’s highly anticipated sports action drama “F1” starring Brad Pitt and opening June 27th.
This one goes into the friendship between Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes, and Javier Bardem’s character Ruben. The Apple TV+ produced film co-stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Shea Whigham and Sarah Niles as Bernadette.
Then, Netflix has premiered the trailer for the Sony Pictures Animation-produced new film “K-Pop Demon Hunters” about a Korean pop band who moonlights as demon hunters. The film boasts a new, original song performed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung of TWICE.
In the movie, K-pop superstars Rumi, Mira, and Zoey use their secret identities as demon hunters to protect their fans from supernatural danger. Their biggest threat arrives – an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise. The film hits the streamer June 20th.
Finally, Netflix has also premiered the official trailer for its OceanGate disaster documentary feature “Titan: The Oceangate Disaster”. Story Syndicate (“Take Care of Maya,” “Britney v Spears”) is behind the doco which will world premiere at Tribeca June 6th and then hit streaming on June 11th.
The Mark Monroe-directed film offers an in-depth look into the OceanGate disaster in June 2023 as a group of five went on an underwater expedition in a Titan submersible in hopes of exploring the ruins of the Titanic and lost their lives in the process.
