Beloved actor Keanu Reeves says he wants to make a fifth “John Wick,” but is unsure if he’s physically capable of doing so anymore.
The action star turned 60 this year and first took on the role in 2014’s “John Wick” just before he turned 50. He continued in the character through until last year’s “John Wick: Chapter 4” which saw his character’s death.
Though he will be seen back in the role in next year’s spin-off “Ballerina” for a cameo, there’s been plenty of questions as to whether the franchise could continue with a fifth film.
Speaking with CBS News, Reeves says he’s open but age may finally be impacting him:
“You can never say never. My knees right now are saying ‘I can’t do another John Wick.‘ So my heart does but I don’t know if my knees can do it.”
The comments come as Reeves is currently in cinemas as the voice of Shadow in “Sonic the Hedgehog 3”. Lionsgate has previously indicated they’ve no plans to shelve the “John Wick” universe anytime in the near future.
