Gary Oldman has been recruited by the actual British security services to narrate a Christmas poem for Apple TV+.

Titled “A Christmas Story from MI5,” the British domestic counter-intelligence and security agency have published the video on their Instagram page.

The clip sees Oldman, using the voice of his character Jackson Lamb from the acclaimed “Slow Horses” TV series, narrating a contemporary twist on the poem “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

At the same time, the video shows various workers at their computers at the spy agency’s actual London headquarters at Thames House (the series changes the name to ‘Regents Park’).

“Slow Horses” has been a critical hit for Apple TV+, garnering multiple awards nominations and sitting in many TV Top 10 lists at year’s end.

A fifth season of the series has already been filmed and is due out in 2025, while a sixth season was ordered back in October.
