While there has been much debate about the quality of Marvel’s Disney+ series endeavors, its two-season “Loki” seasons remains one of their most critically acclaimed and popular small screen efforts to date.

The series offered a complete arc for Tom Hiddleston‘s god of mischief, leaving behind his villainous past and becoming a tragic hero effectively holding reality together.

With the show’s second season about to get a 4K UHD release, a deleted scene has been revealed in which Hiddleston’s Loki recalls how many people “said I was a problem”.

Talking with Mobius (Owen Wilson) over key lime pie, Loki namechecks Volstagg (Ray Stevenson), Hogan (Tadanobu Asano), Fandral (Josh Dallas/Zachary Levi), Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard), Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders).

Also named are biological father Laufey (Colm Feore), Odin’s father Bor (Tony Curran), and Heimdall (Idris Elba) twice, and Donald Blake – the name “Thor pretends to be when he goes to Earth”.

However its names for other characters either not yet seen in the MCU, or briefly glimpsed elsewhere, that has caught people’s attention. Two not seen are Enchantress/Amora and Absorbing Man/Carl Creel

Loki also brings up Greek demigod Hercules, briefly glimpsed in “Thor: Love and Thunder” post-credits played by Brett Goldstein. Loki says: “Hercules — another big guy. I was a big problem for him.”

“Loki” second season debuts on 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 3rd.
