The first photo is out from Guillermo del Toro’s long-gestating live-action version of his “Frankenstein”. Vanity Fair first released the stills as part of its 2025 film preview. The shot shows a glimpse of Oscar Isaac as Dr. Victor Frankstein, and Jacob Elordi as his monster. [Source: X]
Scream 7
Isabel May (“1883,” “1923”) is in talks to star in a key role as the daughter of Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott in the seventh “Scream” installment for Spyglass Entertainment.
Kevin Williamson, the creator of the franchise is directing from a script by Guy Busick who wrote the last two films. Paramount Pictures is set to release “Scream 7” in theaters on February 27th, 2026. [Source: THR]
Shiver
Maddie Ziegler (“My Old Ass”) and Levi Miller (“A Wrinke in Time”) are set to star in “Shiver,” a feature adaptation of the bestselling young adult fantasy novel by Maggie Stiefvater. Claire McCarthy (“Ophelia”) will direct and production is currently underway in Vancouver. [Source: Deadline]
Wild Hogs 2
A sequel to 2007’s comedy “Wild Hogs” is in the works at Disney with original stars Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, and William H. Macy set to return. Walt Becker directed the first film but it’s not clear if he will return for the sequel. The original grossed over $253 million on a $60 million budget, despite being widely panned. [Source: WoR]
