Who doesn’t crave a werewolf movie after Christmas, right? Somebody must, because that is what they are going to give you. The new international trailer for Wolf Man shows quite a lot more than the first teaser revealed a while back.
More has been released about the storyline, too. Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott plays metropolitan urbanite Blake, who inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father vanishes and is presumed dead.
His life in San Francisco, including his marriage to his corporate high-flying wife Charlotte (Julia Garner), is not going great so he persuades the family to take a break from the city and visit the property.
Attacked en route by an unseen animal, they barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter, however as the night progresses Blake begins to behave strangely, undergoing changes that will force the family to decide if they really are safer inside the house.
Sam Jaeger, Ben Prendergast and Benedict Hardie co-star. The project was originally to star Ryan Gosling but he pulled out before production started.

Universal and Blumhouse will release Wolf Man in cinemas on January 17th.
