Hurry Up Tomorrow
“Krisha” and “Waves” director Trey Edward Shults’ new film has landed on the title “Hurry Up Tomorrow” with Lionsgate handling worldwide distribution. Manic Phase, Reza Fahim, Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss produce.

The musically-driven psychological thriller stars Abel ‘The Weeknd’ Tesfaye, Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan and serves as an extension of The Weeknd’s upcoming album. [Source: Variety]

Smile 2
Paramount has released the opening seven minutes of “Smile 2” online, but there’s a catch. To do so you have to turn on your camera and smile – and if at some point during the seven-minute clip viewers stop smiling, the responsive tech will pause the video. [Source: Paramount Pictures]

Dates
Warner Bros. has set a November 5th launch date for digital purchase/rent of the acclaimed “Super/Man” documentary. The film explores the aftermath of Superman actor Christopher Reeve‘s unfortunate horse riding accident which left him paralyzed.

That’s not all date-wise. Shout! Studios has announced that Viggo Mortensen’s western epic “The Dead Don’t Hurt” will officially be available for purchase on Blu-ray starting on December 3rd.

Cotton Malone
A TV series adaptation of Steve Berry’s Cotton Malone books is in development at Amazon MGM Studios. Brian Young is attached as writer and executive producer on the series which began with 2006’s “The Templar Legacy,” has sold over 15 million copies worldwide.

Malone is an ex-U.S. Justice Department agent turned antique book dealer who continues to serve his country when secrets and conspiracies buried deep in America’s past come to light and threaten its future. [Source: Variety]

The Running Man
The first set photos are out of Glen Powell filming for Edgar Wright’s “The Running Man” remake around London’s Battersea Power Station.

Powell stars as Ben Richards in the film which also boasts Josh Brolin, Lee Pace, Katy O’Brian, Emilia Jones, and Michael Cera in its cast and the film is set to be released on November 21st 2025.
