Ayrton Senna was arguably the greatest racing driver to ever get behind the wheel of a car. He was a prodigious talent who tore up every formula he entered. He was mesmerizing to watch as he coaxed performance after performance out of his cars. In the wet, he just seemed to go even faster. He was world champion three times but was poised for many, many more.
Then, one fateful day in 1994 in San Marino, Italy, his life was tragically cut short.
His life has already been the subject of a 2010 documentary film Senna, directed by Asif Kapadia and produced by StudioCanal, Working Title Films, and Midfield Films.
