By Searchlight Pictures has released the trailer for writer-director Marielle Heller’s bizarre-sounding new horror-comedy feature “Nightbitch” starring Amy Adams.
Adams stars as an artist who put her career on hold to become a mother, and suddenly realizes that she might be transforming into a dog.
Heller (“The Diary of a Teenage Girl,” “Can You Ever Forgive Me?”) wrote and directed the project based on author Rachel Yoder’s 2021 novel of the same name.
Scoot McNairy, Zoe Chao and Mary Holland co-star in “Nightbitch” which is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday.
The film was previously intended to launch on Hulu before landing a theatrical release which will happen on December 6th.
Adams, Heller, Anne Carey, Sue Naegle, Stacy O’Neil and Christina Oh serve as producers.
