A couple of release date announcements today, starting with Disney’s third “Frozen” which will open November 24th 2027.

The film, which had some artwork shown off at D23 this past weekend, will thus arrive eight years after the second “Frozen” hit cinemas in 2019 and fourteen years after the original dazzled in 2013. Both films went on to become billion dollar blockbusters.

Pixar has set “Hoppers” for March 6th 2026, that film being a body-swap comedy about a young girl who uses technology to understand the inner thoughts of animals. Jon Hamm and Bobby Moynihan lead the voice cast.

Lionsgate has moved up “Crawl” director Alexandre Aja’s new psychological thriller film “Never Let Go” starring Halle Berry. The film follows a mother and her twin sons who live in a remote, isolated location as evil takes over the world.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Fathom Events have officially announced Thursday, September 19th and Sunday, September 22nd as the dates for “The Matrix” theatrical re-release to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary. Tickets for the special screenings are available at Fathom Events, or at participating theater box offices.

Finally, Warner Bros. Discovery has officially set Max streaming release dates for both “Civil War” and “I Saw the TV Glow” with the titles arriving September 13th and September 20th.
