Lucasfilm has premiered the teaser trailer for its new live-action series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew”.
The series is set at around the same time as the events of the first season of “The Mandalorian” – several years after “Return of the Jedi” and before the events of “Ahsoka”.
In the series, four kids make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet and get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.
The four kids are Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Fern, Robert Timothy Smith as Neel, Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Wim, and Kyriana Kratter as KB.
Jude Law, Nick Frost, Kerry Condon, Tunde Adebimpe and Jaleel White also star in the series created and executive produced by “Spider-Man: Homecoming” director Jon Watts and writer Christopher Ford.
Watts, Jake Schreier, Lee Isaac Chung, Bryce Dallas Howard, David Lowery, and Oscar winning duo Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert all direct episodes.
“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” premieres December 3rd on the Disney+ service.
