Batman: Caped Crusader
Minnie Driver is set to play a gender-flipped version of The Penguin (aka. Oswalda Cobblepot) in the new animated series “Batman: Caped Crusader”.

The casting news was announced at the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. The first episode of this Batman mythology reimagining was also screened for fans at the panel ahead of its premiere this coming week.

Hamish Linklater voices Batman/Bruce Wayne in the series alongside Christina Ricci as Catwoman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn and Diedrich Bader as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

Silo
Apple TV+ has announced that the second season of its acclaimed Rebecca Ferguson-led sci-fi series “Silo” will premiere on November 15th.

The first episode of the new run will air that day with the season running through until January 17th. In addition Steve Zahn has joined the cast in the key role of Solo. [Source: Apple TV+]

Blood of Zeus
Netflix has renewed its animated series “Blood of Zeus” for a third and final season to debut in 2025. Series creators/executive producers Charley Parlapanides and Vlas Parlapanides announced the news at Comic-Con on Saturday.

The third season will continue the story of Heron, Seraphim and the gods as they face their most dangerous adversaries yet, Typhon, Cronus and the Titans. Previously it was teased that a five-season plan was in place for the series. [Sourc:e TV Line]

Superman & Lois
The CW has released an extended first look at the Superman’s space brawl with Bizarro-turned-Doomsday in the upcoming fourth and final season of “Superman and Lois” which returns October 17th.

The show’s trailer the other day hints that the season will start out with Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) seemingly having not survived the fight. How the series will handle bringing the “Death of Superman” to the screen is unclear.

The Walking Dead: Dead City
AMC has offered a sneak peek at the second season of the Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan-led “The Walking Dead: Dead City” which sees Kim Coates, Jake Weary, Keir Gilchrist, Dascha Polanco and Pooya Mohseni joining the cast. The new run will air in 2025.
