Amazon has announced that a fourth season of Prime Video’s “Invincible” is in the works – comic creator Robert Kirkman making the announcement at Comic-Con on Friday.
The news came as a part of Prime Video’s adult animation panel with news that both “Hazbin Hotel” and “Sausage Party: Foodtopia” have also been renewed for second seasons.
“Invincible” wrapped up its two-part second season back in April and work on Season 3 happened simultaneously with the second, so the wait for the third season premiere isn’t expected to be long. The panel showed off a new blue-and-black costume for Steven Yeun’s Invincible which he’ll don in the third season.
That’s not the only animated series scoring a renewal. FOX has renewed its ancient Greece-set animated comedy “Krapopolis” for a fourth season, the order coming hot off the show’s first Emmy nomination.
Creator Dan Harmon revealed the news on Thursday to fans at Comic-Con. Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry and Hannah Waddingham star in the mythical ancient Greece-set series.
Finally, animated series “Solar Opposites” has been renewed for a sixth season at Hulu. The news comes ahead of the fifth season premiere on August 12th, and it also has been confirmed that the show will release a Halloween special on Hulu later this year.
