Robert Pattinson is in negotiations to star alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the thriller “Die, My Love”.
Based on the novel by Argentinian writer Ariana Harwicz, the story follows a mother living in an isolated and forgotten rural area.
There she struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis in a marriage breaking down despite both partners being very much in love.
Presumably, Pattinson will play the partner in that marriage. The project marks the next work of Scottish filmmaker Lynne Ramsay (“You Were Never Really Here,” “We Need to Talk About Kevin,” “Morven Callar”).
Ramsay co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh. Lawrence, Martin Scorsese, Justine Ciarrocchi and Andrea Calderwell are producing.
It marks a return to smaller scale filmmaking for Pattinson who in recent years has starred in Chris Nolan’s “Tenet,” Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” and Bong Joon Ho’s upcoming “Mickey 17”. He also has “The Batman Part II” on his schedule in the near future.
