Who was asking for a spin-off starring a character from WandaVision that wasn’t Wanda or Vision? Seriously? But here we are. Agatha Harkness is getting her own show, and now Marvel Studios has released the first trailer. Agatha All Along will feature the returning Kathryn Hahn.

It follows Agatha Harkness as she fnds herself without powers after a Teen Goth breaks her free from a distorted spell. She will take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing.

Agatha and her new companion form the start of a new coven as they set off on their journey.

So why Agatha All Along, and why now? Anyone familiar with the comic lore will tell you that she debuted in the comics as the governess of Franklin Richards and became an ally of the Fantastic Four. She is also inextricably linked to Wanda Maximoff. So in the traditions of the MCU, with a way needed to bring Wanda back in time for the next Avengers movie and with The Fantastic Four imminent, it would appear everything is connected.

Agatha All Along co-stars Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and the wonderful Aubrey Plaza.

Jac Schaeffer (WandaVision) is showrunner and directed the pilot episode. He executive produces alongside usual suspects Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and Mary Livanos.

The first two episodes of Agatha All Along premiere on Disney+ on September 18th and then the remaining seven episodes air weekly.
