Joel David Moore, who plays Norm Spellman in the “Avatar” films, has confirmed he’s back in Wellington, New Zealand to film scenes for “Avatar” – most likely pick ups for the third film with Cameron indicating earlier this year he planned to do those around June/July. The aim of the pickups is “filling in the last 2 or 3%” of the film. [Source: Instagram]
Omni Loop
Magnolia Pictures has announced a September 20th release date for Bernardo Britto’s independent sci-fi dramedy “Omni Loop” starring Emmy winners Ayo Edebiri and Mary-Louise Parker.
Parker plays a quantum physicist who finds herself in a time loop, with a black hole growing in her chest and only a week to live. She has lived this week before, many times, until she meets a gifted student (Edebiri) and they team up to save her life. [Source: Magnolia Pictures]

Netflix has released the trailer for the eighth and final installment of its long-running Spanish teen drama series “Elite” which premieres July 26th.
In the season the arrival of siblings Emilia and Hector Krawietz, leaders of Las Encinas alumni association, shake the school foundations and scatter chaos wherever they go. Only Omar will be able to face them and will be willing to do anything to see them fall.
