Now You See Me 3
A November 14th 2025 release date has been set for the third film in the “Now You See Me” heist thriller which will get a wide theatrical release.
Cast members Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman will reprise their roles in the new film, with Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike joining them in new roles. [Source: Deadline]
RIP
Netflix has officially acquired the rights to the Matt Damon and Ben Affleck-led crime thriller “RIP” which hails from “The Grey” and “Smokin’ Aces” director Joe Carnahan. Filming begins this Fall.
Carnahan will also write the script but plot details are under wraps. Affleck has been finishing up production on his sequel to “The Accountant” and the two were looking for a new project to do together under their Artists Equity banner. [Source: Deadline]
Superman
Will Reeve, son of original screen Superman Christopher Reeve, will appear in James Gunn’s currently shooting “Superman” film at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Will Reeve, a journalist and ABC News correspondent, will make a brief cameo and has been spotted on set in Cleveland dressed in a suit. After filming, Reeve was seen celebrating with Gunn and the crew. [Source: Variety]
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead
Stormind Games and Saber Interactive have revealed the trailer for its first-person, single-player horror game “A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead” based on John Krasinski’s film franchise.
The game has players as a young woman called Alex, struggling to endure not only the nightmarish creatures of the apocalypse but also the anguish of interpersonal family conflicts and her own inner fears. “A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead” will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
