By A24 has premiered the trailer for the psychological horror film The Front Room, which will be released in cinemas this Fall.
Max and Sam Eggers; brothers of famed “The Witch,” “The Lighthouse”, and “The Northman” director Robert Eggers; make their directorial debut on the film which they also penned.
1990s singer/actress Brandy Norwood, who starred in films like “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer” and “Cinderella,” leads the cast of the pregnancy horror tale.
Brandy plays newly pregnant Belinda, who finds herself forced to take in her ailing, estranged mother-in-law (Kathryn Hunter).
As the diabolical guest tries to get her claws on the child, Belinda must draw the line somewhere.
Andrew Burnap and Neal Huff co-star in the film, which is based on Susan Hill’s 2016 short story of the same name.
“The Front Room” opens in cinemas on September 6th.
