He’s back! After 30 years have passed since Wallace And Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, Feathers McGraw is back to make life a misery for his claymation nemesis Wallace and his faithful dog Gromit.
Clay-based geniuses Aardman Studios have released a brief teaser for their new project – Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
Sixteen years after A Matter of Loaf and Death, and with the cinematic smash of Curse Of The Wererabbit a distant memory, this new adventure will see hound Gromit become concerned as Wallace becomes over-dependent on his inventions.
When Wallace invents a “smart gnome” it seems to develop a mind of its own and gets up to all sorts of mischief. But who or what could be the cause? As events begin to spiral out of control, it’s up to Gromit to put his personal feelings aside and help his friend battle sinister forces, or Wallace may never be able to invent anything ever again.
Nick Park, the director and creator of the films says:
“We’re hoping that this film will appeal to fans of Gnome Noir everywhere and that people will be gratified when they see what Feathers has been up to since The Wrong Trousers.”
This time around the voice cast includes Ben Whitehead as Wallace, and Peter Kay as Chief Inspector Mackintosh. Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, and Lenny Henry round out the voice talent.
The special will be 70 minutes long. Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl will premiere this Christmas Day on BBC One in the UK. Outside the UK it will be on Netflix.
