Netflix has premiered the teaser trailer for the fourth and final season of “The Umbrella Academy” will premiere August 8th on the service.
Regulars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castaneda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, Colm Feore are back and are joined by Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally and David Cross in the final run.
Steve Blackman, who has showrun the series from the start, is returning as executive producer and showrunner.
Based on the comic book series created and written by Gerard Way, the third season premiered in 2022 to No. 1 in Netflix’s English-language TV weekly rankings with 124.5 million hours viewed. It spent five weeks in the Top 10. All three seasons have racked up six Emmy nominations.
Running a shorter six episodes as opposed to the ten-episode runs of the three previous seasons. Things begin in a rebuilt universe with the siblings having lost their powers whilst a new version of Reginald and his resurrected wife Abigail rule the city.
